Rooms were neat. The vibe here was special!

well, it was a perfectly pleasant stay for two nights between christmas and new year. the room was reasonably large and huge, included central heating, an iron/ironing board, and tea and coffee making equipment. everything was perfectly fine and within 14 minutes' drive of albany international airport.

Unique art collection!

We had a lovely time! The breakfast was home-cooked and the owner, Phil, made sure we felt right at home. Only downside was the bathroom being a bit of a trek down the corridor. But all in all, a proper gem this place is!

This quirky heritage-listed hotel is full of character, with a lovely collection of hand-painted oil reproductions and thousands of vintage cameras adorning the walls. Breakfast is a good experience, served hot and fresh in a charming dining room, complete with lovely views.

Dark and cluttered.

The guesthouse features an excellent art collection that adds a unique charm to the atmosphere. Proximity to the town center allows easy access to dining options. The décor feels overly cluttered was great. Service at breakfast fell short, with insufficient staff presence for refills and missing essential items like butter and jam. A kettle in the room would have enhanced the experience, as it was inconvenient to access the kitchenette instead.

quirky charm but bathroom trek

The unique collection of vintage cameras created a fascinating atmosphere throughout the guest house. I appreciated the wide variety of snacks and hot drinks available in the kitchen. The ocean view from the hotel enhanced my experience.

The bathroom was a bit far from my room, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

We really enjoyed our family stay, especially the lovely breakfast prepared with care. The kids loved watching movies on the DVD player in our room, and the ocean view was definitely a highlight. The unique decor added a charming touch to our experience.

My wife says that the bathrooms could be more accessible.

This place was the perfect starting point to explore all the major attractions, with friendly and excellent staff who exemplified great service.

A Good Escape with Charming Hospitality!

A quaint heritage building with character! The breakfasts were hearty with just enough coffee facilities for a cozy start. Owners Phil and Cathy were cute and even helped us with our bags. Be sure to explore nearby restaurants as it's walking distance to great dining options.

The foreshore is in a great location, just a short walk to lovely restaurants. Breakfast was tasty, especially the generous portions. Facilities like coffee and the ensuite were convenient. The owners were super friendly and helpful.

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to stay in historic buildings. the garden area provided a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding after exploring nearby landmarks like the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial and Dog Rock, enhancing our family bonding experience.
